Two speeches at the UN laid out two systems at war. President Trump stood at the podium and called this “the golden age of America.” Brazil’s Lula da Silva stood at the same podium and defended globalization led by the City of London.

By Thursday morning, Trump was sitting down with President Xi — B-1 flyover and all. The midterms are about 40 days out, and the question on the ballot is which system wins.

The American System vs the City of London

Adam opened with the frame: “It’s two systems at war.”

Trump represents the American System of political economy. Lula stands for the globalist order run out of one square mile of England — the City of London, where even the king has to ask permission to enter.

Barbara traced the fight to America’s founding. The American System spread to France through Lafayette. London answered with a fake color revolution history called the French Revolution — the same Jacobin model she sees in the DSA today.

On the UN itself, the hosts didn’t cheer for tearing it down. Barbara called it a sewer that could become something different: a tool for sovereign dialogue, not an imperial headquarters. Trump inviting Russia to the G20 sent the Europeans into a snit for a reason. Susan drew the line: some institutions can be reformed; others, like central banks, were built against sovereignty and growth.

Trump–Xi, AI, and the Gas-Price Psyop

While Senate Democrats claimed Trump was bending the knee to China, Barbara quoted Marco Rubio: what happens between the United States and China right now will determine the 21st century. The British Empire is failing. The real centers of power are the nations pushing the frontiers of science and technology — which is why the AI fight matters so much.

Strip gas prices out of the equation and the economy is booming. Even Laura Ingraham ran a brutal fact-check on Republicans who won’t say so. Wages up. Investment surging. Trump ended free-trade dogma with tariffs, dropped the green mandates, left theParis Accords, and stopped illegal immigration.

Susan compared the recovery to health: abuse your body for 30 years and you don’t heal overnight. The midterm decides whether America sticks with the cure.

The pain at the pump is real — and physical:

• Refining is running at ~98% capacity.
• Key parts take five or six years; Elon Musk is working to fast-track them.
• Biden and Obama celebrated shutting refineries. Gavin Newsom is still doing it.
• Brownsville is the first new refinery in the pipeline since the 1970s.

Susan’s line: that’s the American System — not manipulating diesel so the City of London can make money.

No More Forever Wars — What That Actually Means

Most common question the show gets: “Trump said no new wars — so why are we here?” Susan answered with the 2024 platform. Two commitments that don’t contradict: no more forever wars, and Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.

The IRGC is hardwired to fight to the end. Trump could have done what Bolton and Pompeo wanted and turned Iran into a parking lot — more forever-war instability. Instead: no boots on the ground. Take away the IRGC’s “vote” without flattening the country.

Barbara called the line “Trump is a tool of Israel because he denied Iran a nuclear weapon” insane — and walked the nuclear chain reaction that follows if Iran gets the bomb.

Too Big to Rig: The Ground Game

A viewer is running her second newspaper ad with the PAC flyer. Barbara — treasurer of Promethean PAC — answered with the midterm message she repeats every broadcast: get 10 of your friends to the polls.

You may hold your nose for a candidate. When you and your friends deliver the win, the president gets a huge tactical advantage — because the officeholders know who put them there.

Susan told the story of an activist who’d maxed out her family. She realized knocking doors would get her at least 10 voters. Now she’s working a local congressional campaign. Promethean activists are also headed to North Carolina.
